Chipotle Seasonal Menu : Every Limited-Time Flavor Worth Trying

Chipotle seasonal menu 2026 with Pollo Asado bowl, Chili Lime Chips and margarita

Chipotle’s core menu barely changes. Chicken, steak, barbacoa, carnitas, sofritas. Same rice, same beans, same four salsas. That’s kind of the point.

But every few months, something new shows up on the board for a little while, then disappears. Miss the window and you’re waiting a year (or forever). This year Chipotle said it would do three to four limited-time proteins, plus new sides and dips, so the Chipotle seasonal menu has been busier than usual.

Here’s what’s on it right now, what already came and went in 2026, what each one tastes like, and how to make sure you don’t miss the next drop. For the everyday menu and prices, head to our Chipotle menu with prices page.

Quick note: chipotleprices.com isn’t affiliated with Chipotle. Prices change by location, so check the app before you order.

What’s on the Chipotle seasonal menu right now (October )

If you walk into a Chipotle this month, here’s what’s new:

ItemWhat it isPrice (approx.)Available
Pollo AsadoGrilled adobo chicken with garlic, Mexican spices, cilantro and limeabout $10 to $11 for a bowlSince Aug 31, limited time
Chili Lime ChipsRegular chips tossed with lime and chili seasoningabout $2.50Since Sep 4, limited time
Chipotle MargaritaTequila, triple sec, citrus juice, agave, lime$6 (21+)5 cities only, Fri and Sat in October
BooritoHalloween dealDetails comingOctober 31

Prices come from Tasting Table’s review and QSR Magazine. Limited-time means “while it lasts,” and Chipotle hasn’t announced end dates for any of them.

Menu spotlight: Pollo Asado (the fall headliner)

Pollo Asado isn’t brand new. Chipotle tested it back in 2021 and rolled it out nationwide in 2022. This time it’s a new recipe: grilled chicken in adobo, seasoned with garlic and Mexican spices, then hit with cilantro, citrus and fresh lime right at the end.

What does it taste like? Smoky first, then bright. The lime is what makes it different from the regular chicken.

Not everyone loves it, though. Sporked gave it a 9.5 out of 10. Tasting Table said it “didn’t hit the mark on its own” but worked fine inside a burrito. So here’s my take: don’t order it plain. Build it into something.

Chipotle’s own suggestion is white rice, black beans, roasted chili-corn salsa and guac. That bowl has 46g of protein and 17g of fiber, according to the Chipotle press release. It comes out to about 830 calories. Want to cut that down? Our Chipotle nutrition calculator shows what to swap.

Menu spotlight: Chili Lime Chips (a first for Chipotle)

This one started as a fan hack. People were bringing bags of seasoned chips from the gas station and dumping them on their bowls. Chipotle says mentions of that combo went up more than 1,500% since 2022. So they just made their own.

The chips are the regular ones, tossed fresh every day with real lime and a chili seasoning. No artificial colors or flavors. They launched alongside Pollo Asado, which Chipotle called its first-ever double launch.

Are they spicy? Not really. Think tangy, with a little warmth. A regular order is about 550 calories. A small trick from reviewers: crush the last few into your bowl with some queso. It works better than you’d expect.

If you’re a plain-chips person, you can still get them. Our Chipotle chips page has every chip and dip combo with prices.

Menu spotlight: the $6 Chipotle Margarita (October only)

Remember when Chipotle sold margaritas? They’re back, but only for a few nights and only in five cities. The “Summon the Spirits Tour” runs Fridays and Saturdays, 3 to 9 p.m.:

CityDatesRestaurant
Denver, COOct 2 to 32760 S. Colorado Blvd.
Brooklyn, NYOct 9 to 10185 Montague St.
Dallas, TXOct 16 to 172401 Victory Park Lane
Los Angeles, CAOct 23 to 247660 W. Sunset Blvd.
New Orleans, LAOct 30 to 312801 Magazine St.

It’s the original five-ingredient recipe: tequila, triple sec, citrus juice, agave and a lime wedge. $6, and you need to be 21 or older. Not in one of those cities? Our Chipotle drinks guide covers what you can get everywhere.

Coming up: Boorito on October 31

Boorito is back on Halloween with an in-restaurant entrée deal (in past years, you had to show up in costume). Chipotle said the full details would come later in October. We’ll update this post when they drop, and you can also watch our Chipotle promo code page.

Missed some of these? Here’s every limited-time item Chipotle ran this year, newest first. A lot of them come back eventually, so this list also tells you what to watch for.

A few notes on the big ones:

Honey Chicken was the star. When it first came out in 2025, it became Chipotle’s best-selling limited-time item ever, with the highest order rate of any LTO in the chain’s history. It “hits heat first, then sweet.” It came back April 28 and wrapped up the last week of August. Given those numbers, it’d be a surprise if we don’t see it again in 2027.

Chicken al Pastor was Chipotle’s first global menu item when it debuted, and it’s one of the most requested returns. The 2026 run started February 10 in the U.S., Canada, the UK, France and Germany.

Cilantro Lime Sauce was the year’s first new sauce. It’s creamy, a bit spicy, and very green. Rewards members could try it free on launch day with code SOFRESH.

On a high-protein kick? Al Pastor and Honey Chicken were both offered in the High Protein Cup for the first time. Our Lifestyle Bowl guide lists the protein-heavy builds that stay on the menu all year.

How to never miss a seasonal drop

Chipotle doesn’t put end dates on these, and they don’t always announce when something’s leaving. A few habits help:

  • Join Chipotle Rewards. Members got Chili Lime Chips four days before everyone else, and Al Pastor a day early. Our Chipotle mobile app guide walks you through signing up.
  • Watch the first two weeks. New items usually come with a $0 delivery fee deal in the app, like the one for Pollo Asado from Aug 31 to Sep 13. That’s the cheapest time to try one.
  • Check the app, not the menu board. Limited items sell out store by store. The app shows what your location actually has.
  • If you love it, order it soon. Honey Chicken got a “final week” free double protein promo, and then it was gone.
  • Keep your birthday free. Your Chipotle birthday reward works on most new items too.

Quick answers about the Chipotle seasonal menu

What’s new at Chipotle right now?

Pollo Asado and Chili Lime Chips, both on the menu since early September 2026. Margaritas are back in five cities on October weekends.

How long will Pollo Asado be available?

Chipotle hasn’t said. It’s “limited time,” which has usually meant a few months.

Is Chipotle Honey Chicken coming back?

It ended in late August 2026. It’s the best-selling limited-time item Chipotle has ever had, so another return seems likely, but nothing’s been announced.

Are Chili Lime Chips spicy?

Only a little. They’re mostly tangy, with lime up front.

Can I get Chipotle margaritas everywhere?

No. Only at five restaurants in Denver, Brooklyn, Dallas, Los Angeles and New Orleans, on set October weekends, for guests 21 and up.

Do limited-time items cost more?

A Pollo Asado bowl runs about $10 to $11, which is in line with most other proteins. Prices vary by store.

Can I get seasonal items in catering?

Usually not. The launch promos have excluded catering, and the Chipotle catering menu sticks to the core proteins.

Bottom line

The Chipotle seasonal menu moves fast in 2026. Right now, that means Pollo Asado (build it into a bowl, don’t eat it plain), a bag of Chili Lime Chips, and a $6 margarita if you happen to be in the right city on the right weekend. Then Boorito on Halloween.
